I want to note at the beginning that this review is of a ball that weighs 2lbs more than my normal balls. The Reactive Hammer is an excellent ball for players wishing to find a solid dry lane ball or a down-and-in (skid-flip) style of bowling, such as myself. Has a solid carry on the pocket, although sometimes will leave standing pins despite solid pocket shots (again, could be my release with a 16lb ball that I am not used to using...yet...and I was also playing on medium oil conditions). While many of today's "big" bowlers or new bowlers like the massively arcing balls because of the fancy look and drier house conditions, some players prefer following the more down and in style that Norm Duke and Walter Ray Wiliiams Jr. have mastered and look for balls such as this one to fill their bag. Again, it all depends on player, lane conditions, drilling, and release to how a ball reacts and plays on the lanes. Will hook more if a player really snaps the wrist with power, cups the wrist,

this is a great ball i would recommend it to anybody that likes to blow up the pins this ball works great at my ally but it is an old center. has an impressive back end for an older ball I like these because no one really uses old balls anymore i got a really good deal on mine and it was worth every penny and then some i debate wheather or not to throw it to make it last longer the ball returner is already chewing it up when lanes are flood carry disappears thanx aaaaaa aaa aaa AAa a Aa aAAaAa Aa A A A aaa AAAA A a a a AA AAA AaaAAA aa AaAAa A a A a

This ball can still keep up with most of todays balls on league conditions. This ball can score at times, which is amazing after all the changes in bowling over the years in lane conditions. But when it comes to higher levels of competition, it just cant keep up with the the high performance balls. This is a great ball for league conditions. But if you are more serious than most keglers then this ball will hold you back the carry just isnt there for tougher conditions. If you just want a great ball for leagues, then this ball will do the trick! All in all, it just depends what level you are competing.

    tried many balls, nothing hits like a hammer. faball rules. the new hammer stuff is subpar. get a navy rective, nasty nail x, and a red urethane and u should average 220+...the only hammer any good now is the pure, but why buy that ebonite junk if you can buy a real black hammer. tell fab to reopen. tell them to bring back the pink hammer. a a a a a aaa a a a aa aa a a a a a aa a a aa a a a a a a aa a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a aa a a a a a a a a a aa a a a a

anything that is made by faball is worth the investment. That's why you can't find them on ebay (Old urethane) Faball stills shreds. A 299 helped me win some sidepots and a couple of brackets. Got my $50 for the purchase and it still makes me $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$. If you want to find one without going through the ebay wars you may go to Bowlingballs.com and still see a clearance on faball equipment. If you are starting you may find a good urethane ball, since hammers were the first to make a core that creates a good roll without the overflip reaction.
