This ball is drilled with a 4 ½ “ pin and the CG 5” from my axis. For me, this ball works well on the fresher PBA conditions when I have to go straighter through the front and need a controlled reaction on the backend. Does not overreact in the backend because of the weight block. Has a tendancy to hook too soon if it get to the dry too quick. A very nice ball to keep you in play on a fresh condition. Excellent addition to the Low Flare family. I would recommend this ball to anyone who is looking for a safe ball.

It seems to me that this ball was misrepresented by the manafacturer, it has a lot more hook than the numbers would have you believe. I bowl with 2 fingers and can stroke or crank the ball.. If i throw it stroker style it will take a nice foreward roll into the pocket with a strong hit. Cranking the ball requires a good foreward speed and ability to play from the 1 to 15 board. Give a 45 degree spin and count the number of splinters you just made... I think that this ball has helped me improve my game beacuse it is not forgiving when you miss your mark. My other main ball is a cherry messenger, miss your mark with that one....dont even worry.... I bought the stinger sanded and ended up having it polished 3 times before I could consistently hit the pocket. After a few games with the ball i havent shot below 180 with it...Its a little tricky to figure out but well worth the effort...Its a good priced ball so there is not too much to worry about..

As a novice bowler, my experience is limited, but this ball sure seems to clean up a lot of my previous mistakes. Wants to hook if you will let it. Acts like a pretty easy to control ball. Haven't tried the ball on synthetic yet. Seems to provide more power and control than some of the other mid-range balls. For beginners wanting to learn how to get a hook without spending a fortune, this ball really seems to take a lot of stress away from you. sanded finish allow the ball to grip the boards a lot better, providing a harder push through the pins. Very friendly ball!
