This is my third Ebonite bowling ball and the only reason i got it was because it was given to me by my centers pro shop. It was a used ball of the owner and he gave it to me to try. WOW I sure glad he gave me this ball. I just turned 19 years old and bowl in one of if not the hardest house in Delaware. This house is so hard to carry in that the house high series is only 824 with only 5 - 800s ever being recorded here. All this said i got this ball and in only my first week i recorded my high series 750 - 237, 277, 236. And the following week i broke my own high series shooting 777 - 267, 231, 279 (With 31 strikes, 3 spares, and 2 opens, a ten pin miss and a 6 count split. Definatly should have been an 800.) I love this ball and it is now my favorite ball and between this ball and the V2 Clean i know only throw ebonite.

This ball is drilled with 5” pin and the CG 4” from my PAP. I got good length and a nice flip on the backend. What I didn’t like was the way the ball hit, or in my case the lack of hit. I had no problem getting the ball to the pocket but I left many weak 10’s when it got there. On a suggestion from a national Ebonite staff player, I sanded this ball with 1000 Abralon pad. What a difference this made with the ball. The ball reads much more in the midlane with a smoother reaction on the backend. The biggest difference with this ball now is the hit and the carry. It is amazing how sanding improved carry and hitting power. The ball now covers as many boards as my V2 Strong. If you like this ball in the out of box condition great. But if you are looking for something else do not be afraid to adjust the surface of this one.

I went to this ball during league play. I couldn't get any reaction out of my addiction or my obsession. This ball rolled beautifully and snapped hard. I din't have to do anything with my wrist action. I did have to throw it about 17-18 mph to get a consistent reaction. If I threw it to slow it would snap to hard and if I threw it any harder than 18 mph it would not come back. This ball allows you to play many different shots on different conditions. If the lanes are dry put it away. If there is a lot of carry down put it away. Thank's ebonite.

As of late i have been throwing the x factor series from storm. i recently wanted to try something new so i went to a local pro shop and asked what a good new ball out is. They recomended me to a this ball. At first i was sceptical because i always throw storm balls. I took their advice and bought the ball and now i am so impressed that i am going to go out and buy the ebonite killer instinct. If i am equally impress i will switch from storm to ebonite. This ball may not be right for everyone. When i bought it i did not think it would hook as much as it does. I usually dont have a lot of luck with a pearlized ball. I throw the ball really hard and put a lot of revs on it as well. This ball just blows my mind on the reaction it gets to the pocket on medium oiled lanes. I wouldnt recomend it for this to be the only ball in your bag though, because it hooks tremendusly on dry lanes.

This Ball goes fairly long then FLIP it Charges into the pocket sending scouts EVERYWHERE! I bought this Ball because it was cheap and I heard that it was a good buy on this site, it has a 2 1/2 inch pin, I drilled it up with the pin next to the ring finger and the cg kicked out 1 inch. I have averaged so far 215 with it. By far the best value for money ball i've ever had. The perfect partner for my Predator which hooks about the same except on oil. Best hits on medium to lightly oiled lanes, Keep up the good work Ebonite!

drilled this one 4 x 3(45deg) with some pos static... couldn't believe how much this one "flips"... ebonite named this one accordingly. great ball to have in your bag when you have to play deep inside, if the lane is yielding a little back end, you can creat alot of back end with this one. I think the pitfalls are the extreme's where the back ends are very oily or totally dry for 15+ feet. If your a '6' ball person, this one should be in there somewhere, unless your a high rev'r, or like 'fall backs'.

What a value.... this is the sleeper bal on the market. i had it 12:00 leverage drill with side axis hole. The ball carries through the wet then hits the dry and flips back with such power. At league bowl last nite team members could not believe it was a $90.00 ball!!! They all want to get one now. Controllable roll, skid SNAP to the pocket you can stay right or move left......play it where you want... Thanks Ebonite this ball is Fanatastic! I use to love my Storm Trauma as my #1 ball.....Now its the Savage Flip. i also have the blazing inferno works well when lanes are dry to light compared to the Savage Flip the Savage Hits Harder!

The first couple of weeks were very touchy when the oil started to move. This ball WAS useless in carrydown. BUT!!!!!!!! As is wears in a little and the high gloss flattens out some the ball takes on an entirely new personality. After about 15 to 20 games the ball is just as reactive on the fresh as when it was new, but now it also handles carry down with ease. By far the most versatile ball I've even owned. I have a litle more speed than average with good reves, but no cranker. This ball is very easy to take to the inside and swing wide AND if you like, you can take some hand out of it and play a track shot. Very easily controlled. Actually, I'm going to buy another one and drill it slightly longer and milder for those burned up shots. I give this ball a 10 out of 10.

IF YOU JUDGE YOUR BALL BY WHETHER OR NOT IT PAYS FOR ITSELF . THEN THIS WILL DO IT EXTREMELY QUICK$$$$$$. I WOULD RECCOMMEND THIS BALL FOR ALL SERIOUS BOWLERS. BECAUSE OF ITS VERSATILITY FROM MEDIUM-HEAVY TO DRY. ALSO ANY BOWLER WHO WANTS TO MAKE THEMSELVES LOOK LIKE A PRO NEEDS IT IN THE ARSENAL. I WOULD LIKE TO THANK THE PEOPLE FROM THE EBONITE REPRESENTATIVES THAT WERE AT THE DEMO DAYS THAT WERE SPONSORED AT MY LOCAL PRO SHOP AT BOWL ONE LANES IN TROY MICHIGAN. THEY WERE VERY HELPFUL IN EVALUATING MYSELF TO BE BETTER EQUIPPED WITH YOUR EQUIPMENT

Great peice of equipment. I i got the ball drilled with a pin above the ring finger, with a the wieght hole kicked to 4 and 3/4 way from the pin. When i first threw the ball i left a solid 9 from throwing through 4 and bringing it too to the 3rd board, but that isnt unusaual for me ^_^. Even with the pin up high and the shot it is meant for i can use it all night and not move a inch!! EBONITE YOU DONE IT AGAIN!! ^_^ <---------- IM NOT GAY CAUSE I MAKE SMILY FACES IF YOU ARE THINKING THAT.......

I needed a ball to get around the corner when my solid resin ball drilled 4.5 x 5.5 just wanted to sputter out. So i drilled up the flip. When i say get around the corner i am standing 35-40 and going out to 5 @ about 45'. I had to stay firm or the ball would jump the nose. As long as i kept the ball on line and did not pull or slow down it was fine. Every bowler needs a medium range ball to get around/open up the lane ball and for the dollars this is a great ball. Most will want to go buy an X-factor but for 40-50 bucks less you get the same performance if not more. Ball 15#, Pin 1-3. Drilled 4.5 x 3.0 with weight hole on axis. See Ebonite drill chart for Med RG Strong drilling Nod

WOW! Ebonite has done it once again! This ball has raised my average 20 pins! Its help me get my HGS of 243-A CLEAN GAME! This ball is pretty good on any condition, just adjust. This ball plays very well, good combo w/ my Predator! This ball is the best ever, just make sure you never put it in a ball gloss machine, i did that and all the hook just left! It did nothing. This ball is a real reliable. The cat series is awesome! 14 is a good pound for this ball. And its good for fast and slow speeds, and helps beginners get a taste of greatness in a ball.

I love this ball because it is very different from everything else in my bag. The Savage Flip is truly a skid flip ball, and there is a place for that kind of reaction in my game. I like to play the down and in track, medium speed and revs, and am at times frustrated by the lack of head oil at my late night league. It appears that this ball (so far) obtains length on any surface condition, regardless of how dry! I simply keep the target the same and continue moving left (I'm a righty) until the proper reaction is obtained. The flip and the ends is so dramatic with this ball that I even see some action with carry. Congrats to Ebonite!

This ball was highly recommended for "house" conditions, I have thrown it a few times in each of the houses that I bowl in with any frequency. Likes the center which believes in A.B.B. (adult bumper bowler) immensely, this ball loves to come screaming off the grey board and stores enough energy to cause a good deal of high velocity wood flying around. Tried to play this ball at a different line (20 out to 13) and found that it just doesn't like the idea of plowing through oil. Ball will probably wind up being house and condition specific for me, or maybe for my wife since my shoulder finally got cleared for heavier equipment.
