This is definately not a biginner's ball. It is too flippy to control & even you hit exactly right on pocket but still makes weird pin standing. Well, frankly speak, this ball is not worse to buy since it is not a good selection for most bolwers I believe. It hooks but you cannot tame/guess where it should or would like to go.Sometimes sharp & sometimes straight like a spare ball.It was not oil pattern problem because I can have very nice ball reaction with my Phenom Unleashed alternated at same lane. If you are not a professional or experienced bowler...I will suggest don't use this one.Because the un-predicable backend may able to destroy your experienced rules in bowling history. But for tweener,it may be a not really bad one because I saw my friend have a lighter weight one(13 lbs) & hit not bad score actually. But his is not a hook ball player... You will regret once you didn't prepare for drive it yet.
