This was my first ball and it still goes with me, although my Power Diesel has relegated it to backup status. Carries a lot of strong hits, but a light hit is a no-go because it doesn't like to move once it hits anything. Still works as a spare ball, which is what I think was intended for this beauty. It won't hook around the world, but it is a nice ball for a beginner who doesn't want to throw a plastic ball. It's a transition ball in a lot of ways, and it will work for anyone who wants to make the next step. Even with the new technology, this thing is an oldie but goodie.
