HELPED ME TO WIN SECOND PLACE AT THE IL YABA PEPSI-COLA STATE TOURNAMENT, AND I'VE BEEN BOWLING FOR LESS THAN A YEAR NOW! My best game is a 197! I would like to try an apex adrenalin ball. I would reccomend the gyro particle urethane for young beginers who want to learn about two very importmant, educational, things, sanding and curving. This $70.00 ball has earned me over $1,000.00 in YABA scholarships. This is a very good return and investment. This ball picks up a lot of nine pins, but is pretty good at covering spares.

Makes an excellent 'entry' ball for several reasons: 1- nice and easy arcs, but it will make you learn to tweak your approach and throw. 2-really tests your patience on oily lanes! 3- Makes for a good spare ball once you upgrade to a 'performance' type ball. Would I recommend it to a beginner? Perhaps if the ball were on sale, or he/she was a die-hard Ebonite fan. The biggest problem I have is- the house i go to has oil so deep, the locals here call it (NAME) "Lakes"..not 'Lanes' -I don't want to say the house name out-right- the folks there are really friendly!

all i can say about the gyro particle is "WOW!" i throw this ball all the time. i think it is a really good ball. i bought this ball to learn how to throw a hook now i still use it and it hooks very well. my only complaint is that this ball is considered to be a beginners ball, but it is difficult to control especially for a beginner. i hope that you enjoy this ball as much as i do. if you treat it right it'll give you a good beginner to intermediate level game. thank you for reading this review.
