This is the right one baby. For those of use who really crank the ball on dry lanes and have trouble staying on the correct side of the packet this is the correct ball for you. I have tried everyball in the market and even spent money on the Desset Heat which they say is made for the dry lanes and it still jumps on the back end, This ball rolls smooth and will make it through the heads and want over shoot the packet. Now tournament play will be even for those of us who have trouble with dry lanes with this ball. Also, you don't have to worry about hitting oil spot either because it will turn to the packet and that was another one of my concerns..

OK, our house has a tendancy to have dry lanes. Dry like the Sahara. So one day I got sick of chewing up even my so-called "dry-lane" equipment and picked up "Nina's" Gyro off the rack to be funny. What was even funnier is this ball actually somewhat did the trick on those horrible lanes. The ball made it through the heads, then flared a little past midlane, and was able to make it somehow into the pocket. Now it was 14 lbs (and I normally throw 16lbs) but I still had decent control over it. It didn't really flair at all (nor should it the way it is designed) and it kind of hit like a soggy marshmellow but it didn't roll out or jump through the nose, so if you someday come across a reactive Gyro sitting there and you have problems on dry lanes, don't be afraid to throw a couple of shots and see if you like it...
