WITH STANDARD LEVERAGE DRILLING THE BALL IS VERY CONTROLABLE IN MED/HEAVEY OIL. READ THE LANE , GRAB THE LANE , REVS UP AND DRIVES THRU THE PINS. HAS A BEAUTIFUL ROLL FOR A STROKER OR A TWEENER, NOT SURE ABOUT A CRANKER. USUALLY AMBER LEAVES SOME 8 PINS BUT NOT WITH THIS BALL . QUITE IMPRESSIVE OVERALL. GOT IT ON EBAY FOR $78 INCLUDING SHIPPING. IT WAS AN X-BLEM BUT THE PIN WAS FINE. PRO SHOP GUY SAID THE BALL WAS A BLEM BECAUSE IT WAS 14lbS 7OZ AND NORMALLY THEY ARE UNDER 5OZ. GREAT BUY FOR A TOP OF THE LINE DYNOTHANE. NOW ALL I'VE GOT TO WORRY ABOUT IS AMBER BEATING ME MORE OFTEN!!

I finally had this ball drilled with Pin on top of the ring finger and the CG kicked half inch left. Took this to my league last night and Shot a 687 series. 1st game 244 (won sidepot and got this ball paid for), 2nd game 221, and 3rd 222. I also won scratch series. Threw this ball at the 15 to the 7th and came back hard to the pocket.. very smooth... Keeps the pins very low low low... I will be my favorite ball in this league.... I think everyone should have one of this in their arenals....The last Dyno-Thane that I had was the Element AU79 and I didn't really like that ball.. it took off on me and out of control... this was different... totally in control. You can almost predict how the ball is going to enter the pocket once it leaves your hand.... GREAT JOB DYNO....

overall, this ball is a beast...im giving mine away to a friend to make room for the high energy with the same drilling to get me a little harder backend when i go straighter on really soupy conditions...there is nothing bad about this ball or this line in general...its a total beast...the carry is unbelievable with all dynothane equipment...ive shot some very good scores with this ball when the condition was just perfect and good/above average when they were tougher...the ball always saved me from having a 550 type of night...:)...there is not even a comparison to me...definite buy :) along with all of their other balls -jk

I got my 2nd Energy about month ago. Could wait to get another one. The 1st one I got I had stacked layout. I wanted a whole different layout. So Drilled to go long with pin above and inbetween my fingers with Cg kickedout about 8 o'clock(lefthanded). WOW!! This ball workout awsome on the inside angles. Recovers great. My first Energy was good outside ball with strong arc. Now got 2 Energy's that can work about any condition. Excellent coverstock. Highly recommend. Get one!! Can't wait to try the High Energy and the Pure Energy. I love the way Dyno-thane does their lineup of balls. They don't come with a ball that is close to what they already have.

f you do not know how to play, forget this ball . It is a ball which requires you well to play in the good place and the good approach. It slips a little more than THE THING, but a better backend + carrydown. On date, it is one of my preferred balls. For moment, I use always ENERGY, if I meet the lanes which has more oil, I use THE THING, else, in the worst case, I take later a new ball HIGH ENERGY or PURE ENERGY. The ENERGY of Dynothane are the best balls which I ever saw as much reserve of energy. ENERGY = same core from Ebonite V2 Sweet + coverstock Soaker Dynothane (Thing balls) <s

This ball had a 2 inch pin-out with 2.55 top weight. I drilled it stacked- pin just outside my ring finger with the cg kick out sightly. This is great ball going outside., which is my "A" game -going somewhere in the middle of the 1st and 2nd arrow to near the 2-3 board. It rolls so even. Get one!! This ball has become my favorite ball. I have my drilled to go long and snap hard, and it does just that. This ball gets down the lane really well and then makes a sharp turn on the backend. I don't turn the ball alot but this ball makes me look like I have more hand then I have. The carry is great. The light hits carry just as well as the high hits. The only problem with this ball is I tend to leave alot of eight pins. Go figure a stoker leaving eight pins. I have received the High Energy and I waiting to get about 30 games on it before I post a review, but so far I'm really impressed.

Awesome ball it hits wicked hard. Skips through the heads cleanly with nice midlane read. Also is sometimes forgiving if you happen to yank a shot. None really. You just need to know what you are doing with this ball. If its dry put it away. One of Dyno-Thanes best balls. If your lookin for hook this is the ball. It is one of the best balls I own other than my Thunder Road. If you buy one of these balls you must know how to adjust on the lane and approach. If you don't than dont bother as it hooks way to much

Drilled Ball with Pin next to ring finger and center of gravity Directly under the pin. I bowled with the ball on a 2nd shift league where they do not re-oil the lanes. Ball reacted very well even with a little carry down from the league before. I shot a 279 my first game. Carries very well as alll my dyno-thane balls have. I was able to use the ball the whole night too. When it got dryer I just moved a little left. I did notice the harder you throw it the more in comes back. Overall the ball hooks a little more than the thing returns. Another great ball from dyno-thane.
