Introducing… Messenger Ti Low Rg. Same great coverstock (Super-Flex) combined with the proven Ti core. The only difference is the lower RG. Columbia 300's Low RG addition to their Messenger line is by-far one of the most controllable and most effective Mid-priced balls that Columbia has produced over the past two years. The low RG of the ball creates an early revving motion needed on the heavier oil patterns. Seems to begin revving up straight off the hand, possibly a result of the Titanium inner core of the ball. Keeps the pins low and on the deck. If the ten doesn't go down the first time, wait a second or two for the ball to send a "Messenger" back across the lane. By running a coat of polish over the ball and then giving it a smooth, light brush of the scotch brite, I was able to create a stronger backend motion with a little more length.

This was a great idea from Columbia 300 to bring back the titanium messengers. My personal top 3 bowling ball lines are the Storm Erasers, Roto-Grip Roto Stars (RS1, RSX, RSP), and the Messenger line from Columbia. In my past expierence with them they were durable, predictable, and have exceptional carry. The Low RG is just like that. I had their pearl version of it and I liked the way it flipped hard so with this one I drilled it to roll early. It had terrific mid lane being very predictable and it carries very well. This is one of my top choices for a benchmark ball. My only problem is it has trouble going through the front part of the lane when there is less oil. Carrydown is also an issue. But on the whole an excellent medium oil ball for anyone.

Simply an amazing ball. I bought it used and my second game with it was a 277. When this ball reads the lanes and hooks, it will leave nothing standing. If you are leaving weak tens and such with is, its your own damn fault, cause this thing carries everything. The reaction is very controlled and very easy to manipulate. Few extra revs and it will hook a bit earlier, take some hand out to delay and limit the hook. It is incredibly forgiving on differing speeds. The amount of lines and shots I can throw with it is amazing. Perfect ball columbia!!!
