Well even though this is suppost to be a skid snap ball i drilled it for more of a roll because i wanted to have a ball that was a little easier to control on the backend when the oil starts to push down and the heads starting to dry out a little. I been trying some new techniques to help get more lenght, more revs and more hook. So what i was doing what playing the third arrow out to around 8-5 where this ball would come rolling back into the pocket, just killing the pocket really. Also found out that if i would tug the ball inside a little that this ball would skid a little more and then hit the pocket although i left a few 4, 4-9 split, and a few 10 pins. Now the only reason i didnt give this a full 10 is because when you experience a wet dry or spotty conditions, this ball becomes extremly hard to control, alot of over under reaction, (of course spotty condtions can give any bowler a hard time this ball just seemed to amplify it) The more i practice with it the more i g

I bought this ball to go longer and snap later than my wicked to get a more aggresive entry into the pocket. However it seems to be very similar, might break a couple feet later. Could just be the way it was drilled but i can't fault the ball for that . It has helped with later game lane conditions when my line has burnt up. I'm able to pull this ball out make a slight adjustment on my target and get the same reaction as the first games with the wicked. In this way it has helped better my average in late games, just not what i was expecting or bought it for. Still love the wicked and love this ball, they're just to similar for me. So all in all Another excellent ball for medium oil

i purchased this ball on ebay (59.50) in november 2004 and got it drilled up by a local pro here in the capital region of NY. pin is 2'' out from the ring finger. Typical 4" Drilling first couple of games i wasnt satisfied with the results i was getting, but stuck with it, after it started to track a little, the ball started to snap back much more effectively. when the ball snaps back at an angle the ball destroys the pocket. reasonably forgiving, but wont let you get away with murder. i bowl on thursday nights here at the bowlers club in latham. oil is moderate on most nights, and that is when this ball shines. seems to do better as the night go on, the ball is very readable on normal lane conditions. when the oil is spotty and disorganized, just like any ball, forget it. does well on oily lanes when you add a little hand and slow it up slightly. eats up oil, which i keep on the ball after 1/2 the night depending on the shot length. after approx 20 games i rolled 738

If you like a ball that is a ball that doesn't hook alot but doesn't hook little then this is the ball for you. if you hit it perfectly then it will hit very hard!!!! don't come high or your likely to leave some spilts. The reaction is a strong, continuous arc, very controllable, and it REALLY hits. ....................................................................................................................................................................................................................... OVERALL: AT LEAST a 9. Absolutely amazing ball. A MUST-HAVE weapon. Might be the ONLY ball you'll need, apart from perhaps some 'special-effects' stuff for really radical conditions. So far, I haven't found a condition I couldn't use it on and be comfortable. ...

I bought it from a guy, he said it stopped hooking for him so he made me a good deal on it. It has a pretty good reaction until you get a little oil on the backend then its a really good spareball, I have never had a ball that goes this straight on the back, this is teh first ball that I have had that died. Oh well lesson learned, buy it new and I can get about 2 months of good service, buy it used and get about 2 weeks. Thats $10 per week, and I did win 1 jackpot yesterday when the lanes were too dry for anything else.

Before I got this ball, I had read up a lot about it. Everyone that left a review said it hit really hard and they weren't lying. I got it drilled with the pin just over my right ring finger. The day I got it drilled, and tried it out, I averaged 240. The first game I shot a 258 and got 7 strikes in a row from the beginning. The next day I played sweeps and ended up winning! This ball is very forgiving and has a wide strike area. This ball isn't ideal for heavy oil, but that doesn't mean that you can't use it in heavy oil. This has to be one of the most vesatile balls I've ever thrown because I can use it on an oily lane, and a dry lane without it burning out early. Columbia has done it again!!!

I got the ball drilled with the pin above the fingers, the CG kicked out, and an extra weight hole, because i wanted the ball to go long on house patterns, and an experimental ball on sport shots. For the first 50 or so games, i really did not like this ball very much because there was too much arc happening, and i wanted skid/snap. I put the ball away for a few months, then when i changed my release, I pulled the ball out again and I've been bowling great with it ever since, winning a tournament as well with it.

Overall this is a great ball...I didn't know what I wanted to do with it because my other balls cover a lot of ground...So I asked my driller and he suggested a stack drilling for me and it actually has done alot of good for me...I have developed a more consistant shot...If your going to get this ball make sure you talk with your driller and have him suggest a good drill for you..Get ready for a strong ball....I think I may purchase the regular WoW as well... Great ball...Happy with my investment..

Great ball. Never rolls out. very good predictable snap into the pocket with very good carry!! I have never really ever thrown columbia stuff, But I will and would reccomend tis ball to anyone who likes to bowl on oil!! Just wouldnt try this ball on broken down lanes it will be way to snappy. Thats why you buy a Roto Grip Sonic X which is the best ball ever made for any type of lane condition that you will ever come in contact with!! So for the money The Wow Pearl is a very good aggresive ball for that medium to heavy oiled lane conditions!<scr
