This is a review for a very outdated ball so I will tell you how it was, and how it is in today's conditions. This ball is essentially a cool looking white dot. It is a three piece plastic ball. I had mine drilled over the lable. Back in the 80's it was a ball that hooked a little more than my blue dot, and a little less than my wine u dot but back then, with the lane dressings, you could tell the difference. In todays world with oilier oil, all these plastic and urethane balls react the same and little difference can be seen between them (they all go straight). In todays game it would serve as a good spare ball. It is a spare ball with a cool Chess Knight on the side!!!

It has to have light oil for it to work properly. Because of the core the way it is, it doesn't allow for very much hook. If you think that you can hook the ball like an Icon 3 or an Icon 300, then your bowling the wrong ball. This ball was given to me from a black dude who was on the lane next to us. The holes weren't drilled for me so I don't use my thumb. If I did, than the ball would role off my hand. Overall, if you have light oil, than you have a great ball to hammer down the pins with.

This was the first ball that i ever got that had a little hook. I would compare it to a scout that is drilled pretty much straight up. A tiny bit of hook. An alright ball to begin with or to shoot spares with if you are a more experienced bowler. I still have this ball in my garage also. If you sanded it down than it would probably be a good ball for a kid to learn on or if it is heavier for a beginner. I took third in a tournament with this ball when i was little so it worked alright for me.
