Drilled up an Action Attack awhile ago. Lay out was stacked with pin just right of the ring finger, CG stacked with no extra weight hole needed. My first impression of the Attack was good one. Ball seemed too roll very nice and have a pretty smooth transition off the break point. I did notice however the deeper you did get with the ball the more inconsistent it got. For guys with alot of hand this probably won't be a problem for you. On a typical house shot is where this ball really performed well. Fresh backends and this ball will become very devastating. I tok the surface down from 3000 abarlon to 1500 abralon and I thought it was much more controlable off the break point. All in all if your looking for a ball that has alot of recovery don't be affraid to punch one. Im more of a controlable arch bowler not so much jumpy. Great ball however for the money. The Action Serious balls have always been proven performers.

Have mine drilled 5"x 4 " with pin above the ring finger. Med/heavy oil it's a little squirty unless you change the surface to 2000 dull or play out and in with a slower ball speed. But once the lanes dry out, watch out! This ball hits well in the pocket even if it's not a true pocket strike. It does begin to roll early once it hits a dry spot so playing at an angle works best to get the ball out past the head and midlane. A nice ball to have for league or tournaments.

I got this ball before I got my Hammer No Mercy, and it has been a bit neglected since then. The last few days I've decided to play it more, with great results. I play with plenty of speed (18-21 mph at pindeck) and a lot of hand. With this ball (drilled 5 x 3 with balance hole), I get an aggressive, angular, but predictible reaction that leaves no doubt when it hits the pocket. Quite simply, the loudest strikes I've ever thown. As the lanes break down, I seem to have an easier time playing with this ball then my No Mercy, due to the strong backend. When the fronts go, I can loft it out there and still play. I highly recommend the Attack. For those who haven't looked at a Columbia lately and need something to recover with power, try this one. You'll like it.

I drilled this ball to roll early and didn't think would ever be able to throw it on my house pattern, boy was i wrong and very happy to be wrong. I drilled it 4 1/2 from the pin and 2 from the CG and what makes this work well for me is that i have an inverted track so the ball does over react at all. Very predictable and easy to read the break point, if i tugged it inside it held the line but if i pushed it out it came back beautifully. I would recommend this ball to anyone, I know that it is pricey but for this ball you get what you pay for, and that is a whole lotta hurt for the pins.<scr

I punched up the Action Attack the same as my Action Packed was punched up, 4 1/2" x 3 3/8" pin x cg to PAP. I wanted to compare these too balls, so that is what I did. For me, the Action Attack was about 2 boards more overall hook. Both balls seemed to pick up at about the same part of the lane, but the AP was very squirty off the spot, where the AA was much much more predictable and controllable. When compared to my Action Max, the Attack was about 2 boards less overall hook, with a much cleaner read in the heads, with similar power at the pindeck. This ball fits in the Columbia arsenal very well, and will be like by staffers and C300 enthusiasts alike. Check back at www.BuddiesProShop.com soon for the video for this ball.
