Plastic slips. The Groove grips. And grip is exactly what you need to improve your game. When you’re ready to step up from plastic, get in the Groove. Ready to start hooking the ball? Move up from Plastic to Reactive coverstock technology. Compared to Plastic, Reactive coverstock technology increases traction and hooking action in the oil, and Reactive coverstocks can be sanded or shined to create large differences in hook potential. Reactive coverstocks also respond more aggressively to dry lane surfaces than Urethane coverstocks, increasing backend hooking action and hitting power. Coverstock: The Neon Green/Purple Pearl & Ice Blue feature Brunswick’s popular PowrKoil 17 Reactive coverstock. First used on the Sapphire Zone, PowrKoil 17 is the strongest Reactive coverstock ever used on a Groove class ball. Core: The Neon Green/Purple Pearl & Ice Blue introduce Brunswick’s new DISC (Differential Increasing Side Cylinders) core technology which provides: The largest track f

got my Power Groove for light oil and I was surprised how much this ball hooked for me. I thought that it was going to not move at all and it ended up being my medium oil ball, because of its sharp turn in the backend. It allowed me to get it out and not worrying about it coming back. I was very surprised the reaction I got out of this ball with the low price of it. ¡Viva la nación de Brunswick! I like it... I like it alot... For bein the price it is this is amazing worth every penny spent... Rolled high in tournaments and still using it today even though i have 2 other amazing balls... CONSISTANT you will never find a ball so consistant... this ball improves your game... May not excede the strikes alot of times but still hits fairly hard and does get pin action... Never bowled below a 150 with this ball and i'm a 180 bowler... But try it on the lanes first bc if its not working in practice might as well use it just to pick your spares... Great All round ball...

I have beel bowling with this ball for about 2 years now.... it still has kick and since I now bring my hand up more consistantly now it has even MORE hook (yay for me I guess) I have shot many 200 with this ball (high score being 225[x2]) it doesn't hook all that muck on medium heavy lanes unless you soak it in hot water to get all the oil out then you sand it down.... then it hooks just as muck as an "Eraser Blaze" (storm) soaked in hot water.l..and MAN does it hook for me....... have to roll it harder just to give it less hook but more power and control for me

I'm a cranker with a lot of revs on the ball. This means that I'm always looking for a ball with good length. This ball is going for about 30 ft. before it starts hooking with a strong arc. Hits the pocket like a truck. Bowled my 4th perfect game with it the same day I got that ball drilled. But this ball needs a dry backend to react good. Doesn't like oil longer than 42 ft. It also is overreacting on dry lanes and leaving a lot of splits. Should only be used on lanes with good amount of oil.<s

I bought this ball to practice a no thumb release with. I had it drilled with the cg in span and the pin next to ring finger. I was surprised how much this ball hooked. I had it polished to a high gloss and the added length really helped me keep the ball in the pocket. The ball hit quite well for the light weight. I even left occasional stone 9 pins, which shows how little the ball deflected. I have since switched to 14 pounds and so I no longer throw the ball. I liked it so much that I have considered buying a new on in 14 pounds. Just don't mistake this ball for a dry lane ball as the cover is a very stong reactive and really snaps off of the dry. This ball is long and strong. Hockey Stick BABY!!!!

The ball is dead... Full of oil... Rather fast, been bowling for 6 months with it, about 6 to 9 games a week... so after approximatly 200 games the ball is dead... Really dead!!! Last night I threw it and it did not move 1 board... I will try sweating the oil out of the track of my ball, but i expect it will never be as good as it was out of the box... Lucky this type of ball is inexpensive and easily replacable!!! If it doesn't work out with the sweating I think I'll buy me the same ball again... I was very satisfied with the performance...

PICKED THIS UP OF THE USED RACK IN NEW CONDITION FOR $25. ROLLS THROUGH THE FRONT LIKE A DULL URETHANE JUST HAS A MORE CRISP BACKEND. IM HOPING IT WILL WORK WHEN THE TRACK IS FRIED, SO I CAN MOVE DEEP AND JUST BUMP IT OFF THE DRY WAY DOWN THE LANE. I KNEW THE CARRY WOULDNT BE GREAT, BUT IT IS MUCH BETTER THAN THE OTHER 3 PIECE BALLS ON TH EMARKET IN MY OPINION. THIS BAD BOY WILL GET YOU THERE IF YOU DO YOUR PART. MY BIGGEST BEEF WITH THIS BALL, IS THE FACT THAT I CAN GET A BOATLOAD OF MESSENGERS, YET THEY NEVER TOUCH ANY PIN LEFT STANDING. IN 4 GAMES TONIGHT FROM A SLIGHTLY LIGHT POCKET HIT, IT SENT THE HEAD PIN ROCKETING OFF OF THE WALL IN FRONT OF THE TEN TWICE AND BEHIND IT THREE TIMES. BUT THATS OK, THIS BALL WILL KEEP YOU IN THE POCKET AT LEAST WHEN THINGS GET TOUGH.

First the ball is drilled with Brunswick layout 2L( http://brunswickftp.com/Product%20info/Power%20Groove%20Ice%20Blue%20Pearl.pdf) Pin above The ring finger... This ball goos very long before it makes a sharp turn to the left. I stand around the second dot from the center & throw the ball between second & third arrow (from the right). The Power Groove Reactive hits very hard and carries very VERY good... If you get it in the pocket, you're almost sure to strike (except if you are very unlucky)... Off-hits are also carried extremely well: light hits give you lots of strikes if you're straight on the one pin there is a good chance it won't leave you a split... (only had 1 so far) Overall a very good ball for light & medium oil I'm gonna try it on heavy oiled lanes soon, but don't expect too much on that condition, anything else will be ok.... Recommended to every bowler, worthy addition to the arsenal!!!
