This ball is the BEST ball I have ever owned to date. I have thrown this ball on virtually any condition volume except floods, and the ball can always carry and recover with proper adjustment. I have this ball drilled with the pin above the fingers/bridge. The ball has 3/4 negative sideweight, so it has quite a hard move on the backend. I recommend this ball for medium-to-heavy lane conditions, but I can throw mine on anything except extremes. If you are a medium-high rev player, and have decent speed (anywhere from 16-20 MPH), this ball will be a gem for you. This ball is the best solid reactive ball I've ever owned, next to my Tsunami H2O.<

I have both the Original and the Ultimate Infernos along with the Absolute and the Impulse zone. This is what I was told by a very trusted Brunswick rep I know and a Brunswick Authorized Pro-Shop owner who actually drilled for Brunswick at the ABC's the last 2 years. Except for the coverstock, the Original and the Ultimate are the same ball. The difference is that the Original has a PEARL additive and the Ultimate does not. If you shine up an Ultimate you will get a different reaction than the Original and if you dull an Original you'll get a different reaction than the Ultimate. Sometimes you can achieve what you're looking for by tweaking either ball. I have watched a few guys Ruff-Buff or Shine an Ultimate and kill with it. I've heard of people sanding the Original but have not seen it thrown that way. Both of mine are in box finish and they work just perfect for me. As far as I'm concerned 80% of the Brunswick equipment is great. If it has the Activator coverstock you can't go wron

I know 2 Brunswick reps personally, it's an Ultimate Inferno. Your clueless to think a polished SOLID reactive is the same ball as a PEARL reactive. I've said it eariler, GET YOUR FACTS STRAIGHT. To the person that posted below me... This years pro am ball is the ULTIMATE INFERNO with Brunswicks high gloss polish. Last years pro am ball was a ORIGINAL INFERNO. I don't know what you are talking about "giving the consumer a choice" This ball AND last years model was made for the PBA PRO AM's, BowlersBaradise just got the left overs. They were not made to be sold with the pro am package. Brunswick does give the consumer a choice, they do have a current product line you know! So maybe next time you should get your facts straight before you open your mouth! On a different note, I like the colors of the 2005 2006 PBA PRO AM ball.

The problem is Brunswick runs all PBA stuff now and has limited your choice at the pro-ams. However they do make a great line in the infernos. Why couldn't they have offered a Smokin Inferno as a choice? Some one is always an expert. I emailed Tom Tomars Brunswick's equipment specialist and he said that the proam ball is really more like the Original inferno that the UI. Email him yourself if you doubt it! tom.tomaras@ brunbowl.com Everyone's an expert :) :) :) :) I like the ball so i'll up the pins to a 9. Love to bowl! Live to Bowl! Love to bowl! Live to Bowl! Love to bowl! Live to Bowl! Love to bowl! Live to Bowl! Love to bowl! Live to Bowl!

Listen I'm not gonna cut the ball up but why would Brunswick put the same ball out they did at this years pro-am as they did last season. The only thing they did was change the color. When trying to find out if the ball was any different than last seasons model Bruswick would not even return my emails. Why would anyone pay another $169.00 to get the same ball as last season? Brunswick just does not give the consumer a choice! Of course you could go out and buy a different ball but thats not as fun as going to the pro-am and getting a different ball to try. Now me and my 8 buddies are going to a different tourney instead of wasting our monay to get the same exact ball in a different color. Brunswick marketing people need to get a clue. They want people to go to pro-ams. Think more like Storm and give some choices! Oh but Brunswick runs all the proams now so you are not going to have a choice. Just plain stupid. Hey Brunswick/PBA way to go you jsut lost a 10 guys times 10 balls at $169.0
