This is a 14 pound ball with a 2.5 inch pin drilled label leverage. This ball gets through the heads and reads the dry very hard. It arcs rather than flip which is good for carry. Very few solid tens. When you have oil in the middle with dry outsides the ball gives you wonderful area and carry. It slides on the oil if you pull the ball slightly and hooks hard off of the dry if you miss right. On tougher patterns or lanes without head oil the ball gets touchy because it reads the dry so strongly. Good ball for fresh house shots.

Overall a very good ball for the league bowler or for the beginner looking for his/hers first hook ball. I was a 150 to 160 average bowler before I got the impact. After 2 years of bowling with this ball and careful adjustments it has become the primary ball in my bag. I am now a 170 to 180 average bowler thanks to this ball. Finger tips with no lift recommended, and kept very clean. Although it's becoming hard to find this ball anymore, if I could find another one I would gladly buy it in a heartbeat. If this is your kind of ball. BUY IT!!<
