This was my first ball and I still use it. In my Saturday Jrs. League, where the lanes are notorious for being dry. There this is the first ball out of my bag generally. I have a lot of revs so this ball can be played inside on drier lanes and on medium lanes you can play straight up this boards with this one. This one is drilled label leverage. At tournaments and other houses than my Jr. league house it's a great spare ball. To bad that it's discontinued I shot 279 with this ball earlier this year.

This is a very good ball if you are new to bowling, but you have to put some rotations in the ball or it goes straight.I average 180 with this ball and have only played for 1 year. The best i have played with this ball is 289 and i have had a lot of scores between 260-290.The best thing with this ball is when it hit light shots, because then it just blows the pin away.i am looking forward to get the x-factor wich i shall buy soon.As i said, this ball is good when you find lanes with very dry backends.

I think this ball would be great if you throw on a shot that is 25 feet with next to no oil on the lane. I've thrown on conditions twice like that with this ball and it killed it. But anything else and it doesn't work for crap. It has inconsistent reactions, hits like a pillow, and generally makes me frustrated. And it isn't like I threw 10 games with it. I have probably thrown between 50-75 games with it. And it still is awful. Also, I know that it is a pearlized Urethane ball that is very weak. But that doesn't explain the complete change in ball reaction from one throw to the next. The most insignificant difference between two balls can mean 5 board change in the amount of hook.<

This is a great first performance ball if you are a beginner, or a great spare ball for a more experienced bowler. This ball will do what you want it to, provided you throw it right. It works great for those pesky corner pins because it doen't hook as much as a reactive or proactive ball, and it's a good ball for a beginner who is ready to start playing hook. The only thing about this ball is, you have to have it drilled for the right lane conditions or it won't do what you want it to.

As an old timer who learned with the plastic balls and have had trouble with a lot of the reactives, this is refreshing to find a hard hitting ball with a consistant reaction. Carry has not been a problem for me.In the past month that I have had this ball, I have had some big games . For a person who throws the ball slow like myself and cannot keep a consistant reaction with some of the other type balls, I am very glad to have had this ball recommended to me. So much so That I have purchased 3 of them.
