Fury Pearl

Once again Brunswick responds to the market. To complement the success of the Fury, bowlers asked for a pearlized version. Answering the call, Brunswick delivers the Fury Pearl. Coverstock: Building on the success of the original Fury, the Fury Pearl utilizes a pearlized coverstock and a smoother Coverstock Finish to create a ball with a back-end reaction that is truly BIG. The Fury Pearl utilizes a pearlized version of the High Octane coverstock used on the original Fury. The pearl additive helps create more length and saves hooking action for the back-ends. Glossy Non-Compound Finish: The bowling industry is starting to embrace the surface finishes created by 2000-grit and 4000-grit abrasives. These abrasives create a glossy finish that many bowlers would assume are polished with a wax or similar compound. The benefit to the bowler is that these finishes create length similar to balls coated with compound finishes, but are better able to handle carrydown. The Fury Pearl

Overall, ball rolls great and has great carry.. Once the lanes start breaking down, it's better to switch balls becuase it likes to check early when the lanes start burning up. Ball read the mids well and in the first game or two, carries well. Once the lanes burn up, the ball checks up early and leaves splits or a 6 pin. Great ball for anyone, especially one with a lot of hand and high revs.. Ball was drilled pin right above the fingers and CG kicked out about 2 inches.. I recommend this ball as well as others. Brunswick is coming back in the race with some decent equipment

After getting the ball drilled, i took it out to the lane, I threw it a few times and I was not impressed, but I have to admit I was rushed to throw it since league was starting in 10 minutes. Began game 1 with my Total Inferno, didn't carry all that well so I brought out the brand new Fury Pearl. I was amazed at how the ball bulldozed through the pocket. I was carrying everything. The ball rolled so smooth and reacted with such little effort. So far, I've been trying not to use the Fury Pearl too much and only use it when needed. I have left NO ten pins with the ball. It hits absolutely flush and hard. I wish I could say I've shot all 300's with it, but tere is the human error. This is a MUST have ball.

I have the frist Fury, but this Peal Fury hits better then all of my other bowling balls.I am 59 years old and i am still bowling 800 and 300 games.I would say i like bowling better then the last 20 years.I feel real young again.at my age the young kits know know who am and thay look up at me.I will still keep up with this new bowling ball that are coming out. I hope to keep higher bowling games. The pear Fury is one of the bast bowling balls i like real good.

I want to start by thanking Dennis Reale for the test ball. I laid the ball out with the pin 4 1/2" from my PAP and the CG 4" from my PAP. This layout required a hole, so I placed it 2 3/8" from my PAP down my VAL. On our house shot, the Fury Pearl got through the heads well and picked up really strong in the midlane. When it reached the backends, the Fury Pearl was much more angular and continuous than any other Brunswick ball I've thrown. It hooked about 6 boards less than my Strike Zone, and had about the same amount of overall hook as my Vapor Zone, but was a bit more skid/flippy. On the Cheetah pattern from our PBA Experience league, the Fury Pearl was too much off the dry, and was not the ball to use on the shorter pattern, and had to go back into the bag. I can see how this ball would perform well on medium length sport patterns, because it would provide a little more recovery on missed shots to the out with the strong backend. This is, without a doubt, the b

First time throwing 14lbs and was a little apprehensive about dropping the weight, had worries about leaving pocket splits like the 8-10. On the otherhand this ball hooks and hits so hard that its not possible the leave that sort of split. The shot right now in my house is sort of like the cheetah pattern by playing the outside part of the lane having a high reward. Just have to make sure to stay firm with the shot as i found out by running the front 8 and then being a little soft in the 9th i went and high and left a split. Overall great ball first brunswick ball in along time. The made one hell of a ball with the fury pearl.

The ball hits with authority and holds the line extremely well with particular strength on the back end.....carries well and should I come anywhere near the pocket I carry......lots of pin action with this ball but it will leave an occassional ten pin as all balls will....I don't particularly care for the colorization of the ball; I think it could be more dramatic in its appearance. This ball is entirely different in reaction from the original fury and this I like.....the original fury while ok does not possess the hitting power or the versatility and strength of this pearl fury

After the success of the original Fury and the Torsion Core, I was excited to see what the next big thing from Brunswick would be. The Fury Pearl is a superb follow up and may be better than the original for most people. The test ball we received had a pin of 3" and a top weight of 2.5 ounces. I wanted to drill it so that it would be versatile on the house shot and the PBA shots we were going to test with it. I put the pin directly above my ring finger and the CG almost right below the pin. This drilling would allow the ball to get down the lane but still have enough pop on the backend. I have posted videos of the Fury Pearl on both of the patterns we tested it on at our website! Be sure to check them out! HOUSE SHOT: I really liked the Fury Pearl on our house pattern. It gave me some room to miss on both sides. If I missed right the ball would catch the dry, run back to the hole and carried great. If I tugged it inside it would skate in the oil and still have enoug
