Im writing this cause people rate this ball so low when actually it is a good ball if u use it the way its made for. No matter what anyone else says, this ball is a good ball for spares-or if there is absolutely no oil on the lanes. Its not a performance ball so you shouldnt expect much, i didnt, just needed somthing to pick up the nasty 10 and it does just that. Drilled right of the lable for a straight shot, of couse if i really wanted to make it hook i could crank it and make it crush the pocket (only do it to fuck with people-for a good laugh). Bought it back in 2000 as a spare ball, had it ever since and couldnt be happier, if u take care of your balls, poslish every once in awhile, they will last - :)

this ball makes a good control ball on burnt out lanes.it is a good spare ball if you dont turn your hand over.dont shoot at ten pins with it because it has just enough turn to pull you off of them.you can use it as a go to ball on competely dry lanes as it will not over turn on them.my wife who is a backup reverse turn type bowler loves this ball.she has shot honor scores with it.but she doesnt reley on hook in her game.the only time i can use it is special lane cond. such as 30 foot tourney patterns and late night practice when the lanes have broke down.

Nice ball by Brunswick if your just starting out. This ball will give a beginner a fell for how different balls react to certain lane conditions. This ball is not a heavy oil ball. It's best used on light oil to drier lane conditions. As a person who is just starting out bowls more and get some experience it will be time to move on. I would advise a bowler to use it as a spare ball. I have some good luck with this ball. I was bowling in a tournment in Michigan a couple of years ago. I took this ball with me. The lanes were dry as a desert. I got this ball out and used it. I shot a 650 with it and placed second, much to my surprise.<scri

realy good length.but not much snap in the back. medium or even heavy oil will kill any reaction that you think you have on this ball. and the fact that i got it for 2$ on clearance at Kmart. lol. well you realy should not have any dislikes for this ball. it is not a performance ball. So there for there realy werent any expectations for it. This ball does make a great spare ball, or a great ball for someone who is tryint to learn to thow a hook ball. This ball does have a very long life if you just take care of it by cleaning it and giving it the accasional shine.

This was my first ball. As I improved on my skill, I started to hate this ball. With variety in lane conditions I started to notice the problems with this ball. If you don't have much hook and always have the same shot every time you may like this ball. Since this is my opinion, I say, do not get it. I did however shoot a 768 series with it, that was when the lane conditions were just right. The next week I probably shot something like 525 series. The ball just doesn't react good on oiler conditions.

I thank my lucky stars my dad took this thing off my hands. He may be able to get something out of this clunker I didn't. I think it may be a training ball for hook throwers, but it's way too inconsistent for a rookie to stay with. It has to be thrown absolutely perfect to stay on line, or it takes off wherever it wants to. Also, there is no way to use this ball for spares, since nobody knows where it's going next. Sorry Brunswick, this isn't one of your better efforts. An OK ball, but not something I'd ever suggest to anybody without expecting to get my head kicked in.

I bought this ball at Kmart in '99 and had a pro shop drill it with fingertip grips. My 2nd year in a tournament I shot my first game over 225 with it (244 to be exact). This ball hits good and also works well for the 10 pins when left. After purchasing several different balls, I noticed the pro shop drilled this ball over the lable but it still hooked for me. My only regret is that this ball died on me this past year. So far I have owned 3 other Brunswick balls and they have all treated me well.
