A good ball - but that is it. Not a great ball and certainly not in the category of the Danger Zone DZ2 or the Danger Zone Black Ice. The ball did handle a variety of lane conditions but with its' less angularity than both the DZ2 and Black Ice, it didn't have the same "pop" at the pins and often times failed to carry the corners. The ball was consistent and forgiving but used too much energy in the dry to carry well and spent too much energy in the wet to carry well. Just an all around average ball which produced average scores.

I actually found this ball and im damn glad i did. The ball just about fit me perfect except for the grips i had to put in. Threw the first time and it looked like it was going to slide into the gutter and at the last possible moment it made the hardest, strongest move to the pocket. Definately makes the pins explode. I have never heard anything good about brunswick balls, but this is one of my favorite balls in my arsenal. If you can get your hands on one of these drill it up strong, polish it up, and score.

Found this ball on ebay, bought it for 93 dollars, and I was ecstatic. Came with 3 oz top weight and a 1" pin. Had it drilled up label, with the pin slightly below grip center, and the cg placed exactly right of the pin. As strange as it may sound, I'm able to use this and my Carbide Bomb as almost a two ball arsenal. When one isn't working I'm almost always able to go to the other. The dangerzone 2000 produces a nice midlane roll and terrific continuation through the deck, producing a good amount of pin action and, when I am on, a ton of powerful messengers. Definately a long oil or med-heavy oild ball. Short patterns you will need to swing it all the way or rear back and fire it, but by doing so you lose what makes this ball great, it's predictability. If you can find one, buy it, then sell it to me ;)

If Iam correct danger zone 2000 is the red alert special edition. I got this ball used. But Ive like this ball before i even got it. this ball was a well designed ball thanks to Brunswick with an reactive coverstock.I mainly use this ball for medium lane conditions sometimes heavy if spotty. Then when the lanes get burnt out or dried up then sit this one in the bag unless your packing speed but if used on dry lanes throw outside of the five or seven or else its all left.Ive used this ball in several tournaments and shot my highest game so far 256.
