By removing the pearl additives from the original Hero, the Hero Solid is better suited for slicker patterns and will be a perfect benchmark type of ball, working for a wide range of bowlers.

The Hero Solid is a Follow Up to Last Years Hero from Brunswick. The Hero was a great benchmark pearl piece that was always in my bag and was used quite frequently on todays cliffed house conditions as the Low RG and Medium Differential worked nicely together with the Activator 2.0 Pearl Cover providing a smooth and surprisingly very predictable finish for a pearl. However there were a few occasions I felt the Hero was a little to clean in the fronts and this would have me fishing for something that provided similar finish off the spot but a little earlier in the fronts and mid-lane. With the Hero Solid, I now have that in the bag. The Hero Solid is easily picks up the mid-lane a foot or 2 earlier and still provides that strong, smooth and predictable finish through pins that I loved about the original. Combined they make a great 1-2 Punch
